Prospective memory

“remembering to remember” or remembering to do something you plan to do later. Your prospective memory helps you remember to take action when “later” finally arrives.

People with ADHD can retain memories with normal levels of accuracy, when it comes to long-term memory or working memory, but less so with prospective memory. As a result, ADHDers recall and execute less of their own plans and intentions.
