A popular bullet journaling task/project management system created by Alastair Johnston

Setup

  • Use a double-page spread
  • On the top of the left page, right the project title
  • Below this, vertically write in the status bars for each stage of the project: Backlog, Committed Backlog, Working On, Waiting For, Completed
  • For each task, mark a dot in the column to signify status. As tasks move left to right, cross through the dot in the completed column
  • To the right of the status bars, write the clear and actionable definition of the task being tracked
  • In the spare space at the top of the right side, opposite the status bars, write down what the completed project will look like. Call it “Success”
