Summary
Chang is one of two main protagonists of Project Stardust, the other being Philo. Though most of the story is planned to be from Philo’s POV, Chang is what I consider the true center of the story’s events, characters, themes and more.

Chang has retrograde amnesia when she appears in the story, something of an irony considering her mind- and memory-related abilities. Her “new” memories begin just around her estimated resonance, so it is assumed to be a side-effect.
She is uninterested in addressing her amnesia. However, she understands that Philo is one of few people who are genuine towards her, and she allows a friendship between them on the condition that he leaves the past alone.
She is a full-time operative at the Agency, and is rumored to be covertly powerful. This with her biting personality means she is infamous and feared in resonant society.
Abilities
- Chang can perform telepathy and memory displacement but only through touch, a limitation that her superiors believe can be overcome if she could recall her memories. She is able to project compelling orders and hence manipulate the actions of others, but she refuses to do this unless necessary.
